Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a mechanic working on small engines, diesel and gas engines.
• Proven ability to assemble, perform maintenance, and diagnose equipment.
• Must own and maintain a complete set of professional tools.
• Basic computer skills for diagnostic and documentation purposes.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and respond to after-hours calls.
• Professional, customer-focused demeanor with strong service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards of quality.
• Use diagnostic tools and manuals to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Make necessary repairs accurately and effectively.
• Engage with customers as needed to explain repairs, provide updates, and answer questions.
• Complete work assignments in the shop and in the field environment.
• Follow direction from the Service Manager or Shop Foreman as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and proper care of tools and equipment.
