Job summary

Ace Surface Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a skilled automotive technician to perform complex diagnostics and maintenance on diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and related vehicle systems. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair a range of components, and document work orders thoroughly.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with diesel and gas engines, welding, hydraulics, and tire equipment, and must provide their own tools. Part-time position Thu-Sun with on-site duties in Phoenix area.

Qualifications

Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Strong communication skills.
Performs complex diagnostics on all vehicle systems.
Determines maintenance and repairs on brakes, engine components, transmissions, suspension, steering, coolant, A/C, lifts, fuel, exhaust, and electrical systems on gasoline and diesel engines.
Performs state required inspections.
Receives work orders and completes diagnostics and repairs within time standards.
Safety procedures must be followed.
Accounts for all parts and labor on work orders.
Heavy physical labor in outdoor conditions.
Willing to work flexible shifts, holidays, evenings and weekends.
On-site presence during business hours and as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Perform complex diagnostics on all vehicle systems.
Determine appropriate maintenance and repairs on vehicle components.
Inspect and follow state standards for inspections.
Process work orders and track parts and supplies used.
Maintain safety procedures and on-site attendance.
Willing to work Thursday-Sunday shifts and extended hours as needed.
Fleet includes diesel and gas engines, pressure washers, tractor scrubber, and ride-on concrete cleaner.
