Job summary

Venture-Community-Service in Gardner, MA is seeking a Developmental Specialist to directly support individuals with developmental disabilities in Day Services. This part‑time role is paid hourly, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and paid training provided.

You will implement Day Habilitation Service Plan objectives, document progress, promote dignity and safety, and help participants engage in meaningful activities, while weekends and holidays remain off.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or G.E.D. required.
• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver's license and daily use of a car on site (preferred but not required).
• Available by telephone for daily contact.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to identify, develop and participate in a variety of meaningful activities to increase functional independence.
• Document daily DHSP progress in the daily log and report to the Manager.
• Ensure individuals' health, safety and general well-being.
