Job summary

Wonders Early Learning + Extended Day is seeking a part-time Development and Events Specialist to diversify revenue and streamline fundraising processes. The role includes planning campaigns, tracking gifts, and coordinating community events in a hybrid work setting at Bethesda, MD.

Responsibilities include supporting the Board Advancement Committee, cultivating donors, and communicating the value of early care and education to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS or BA degree.
• 4+ years of direct experience in nonprofit development.
• Working knowledge of development CRM is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with WordPress and social media preferred.
• Strong project management skills and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising campaigns and diversify revenue sources.
• Acknowledge and track gifts and donations; manage donor relations.
• Coordinate community events and engagement activities.
• Provide staff support to the Wonders Board Advancement Committee.
