Job summary

St. Therese Catholic Academy (STCA) seeks an Advancement Director for the 26-27 school year, with potential renewal by mutual agreement.

The 20-hour-per-week, part-time role oversees fundraising, admissions, communications, marketing, and donor database management to support a Preschool-8th grade Catholic school in Seattle. The Advancement Director will partner with the principal and leadership team, recruit and train volunteers, and coordinate events such as the Annual Fund, Jog-a-Thon, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum two years in fundraising and/or school development.
• Desire to work in a racially and economically diverse, faith-centered community.
• Experience managing volunteers and collaborating with school leadership.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to inspire donors.
• Excellent organizational and editing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and other design/communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the principal and leadership team to implement the school’s mission.
• Plan and execute major fundraising events: Annual Fund, Jog-a-Thon, and School Auction.
• Oversee marketing and communications for fundraising events; manage leadership groups.
• Recruit, train and manage volunteers; work with community partners for sponsorships.
• Maintain admission database and communicate with families throughout admissions process.
• Create and maintain monthly admission reports and coordinate Open House events and orientations.
