Job summary

Cabaret 313, a Detroit-based nonprofit arts organization, seeks a relationship-driven Part-Time Development Director to support fundraising growth and long-term sustainability. The role collaborates with the Executive Director and ArtOps to cultivate donor relations and secure grant funding from foundations, corporations, and individuals throughout the season.

This position offers 15–20 hours per week with compensation of $30,000–$35,000 annually, dependent on experience, and occasional evenings

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, grant writing, or donor stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure grant funding with ArtOps and Executive Director.
• Research, write, and manage foundation and corporate grant applications and reports.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with private donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners.
• Support annual giving campaigns, events, donor stewardship, and development planning with leadership.
