Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking a Part-Time Advanced Practice Practitioner in Dermatology to provide comprehensive dermatologic care at the Health Center in Athens. This role reports to the Primary Care Lead Physician and collaborates with medical staff to deliver patient-focused dermatologic services.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing and five years of dermatology experience, with Georgia NP licensure or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or equivalent with 5 years of professional dermatology experience.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with Georgia NP license or NP certification.
• Dermatologic care certification (DNCB) or NP pathway with dermatology experience.
• Current BLS certification or within 30 days of start; five years dermatology care experience.

Responsibilities

• Dermatologic clinic care: evaluate and diagnose skin conditions.
• Manage chronic dermatologic conditions and acne therapy; isotretinoin monitoring.
• Perform skin exams, biopsy when indicated; coordinate referrals as needed.
• Educate patients on skincare, disease prevention, and treatment adherence.
