Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis in Georgia. You will provide elderly patients with compassionate dermatology care in skilled nursing facility settings, following established care plans and collaborating with physicians.

The ideal candidate holds a current NP license, dermatology experience in clinics, hospitals, or nursing homes, and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold an NP license to practice dermatology.
• Dermatology experience in clinics, hospitals, or nursing homes is required.
• Strong communication with elderly patients and staff.
• Ability to develop and adjust patient care plans with physicians.
• BCLS or ACLS certification and DEA registration are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and patient observations.
• Record patients' medical histories and symptoms.
• Create and contribute to patient care plans.
• Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Monitor medical equipment and consult with physician on call.
• Administer medications and other treatments.
