QualDerm Partners in Mansfield, OH is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team for part-time hours (20-29 hrs/week). You will support dermatology and aesthetics services, prepare patients, assist clinicians, and help maintain a welcoming patient experience.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, medical assistant certification (preferred), familiarity with EHRs, strong communication, and excellent organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Proven experience as Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology practices.
• Strong communication and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment; proficient with EHR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist the physician during examinations and procedures; ensure instruments are ready.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, skincare practices.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and stocked.
• May support clinic social media content and community engagement as directed.
