Job summary

QualDerm Partners in Westerville, OH is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dermatology-focused team on a regular-part-time basis.

You will support patients before exams, assist physicians, perform basic lab work, maintain records, and educate patients on skincare. This role emphasizes compassionate care and confidentiality in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Proven MA experience in a clinical setting, preferably dermatology.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and privacy practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and recording medical history.
• Assist physician during examinations and procedures with instruments.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Schedule appointments and manage office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and skincare practices.
• Keep exam rooms clean, organized and stocked.
