MercyOne Newton Medical Center in Newton, IA is seeking a Part-time Department Support Assistant for PRN shifts. You will perform clerical duties on the nursing unit, answer multi-line phones, greet customers, and help maintain charts and documentation in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will coordinate communications across departments, support safety and infection-control policies, and ensure records and supplies are organized.

• Performs clerical duties for the nursing unit by maintaining charts, answering multi-line phones, greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and timely manner.
• Utilizes computer applications and communication technologies effectively.
• Maintains a safe, neat, and organized work environment and assists with supplies and equipment.
