Job summary

42 North Dental in Stroudsburg, PA is seeking a Dentist to provide comprehensive care from initial exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. This part-time role features a schedule of two Saturdays per month (7 AM–12 PM) and a daily rate of $750–$900 USD.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, create and review treatment plans, and maintain patient records while performing required

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education

Education
