Job summary

42 North Dental in Bucks County, PA is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice and care for a strong flow of new patients each month. You will manage the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam through treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

This role offers a daily rate of $750-$900 USD and a schedule that includes two Saturdays per month, 7 AM–12 PM.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
