The role covers the full patient experience from diagnosis to delivery of care including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients and update records.
• Interpret X-rays and monitor growth and development.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Carry out surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics; pursue ongoing education.
