Job summary

42 North Dental in Stroudsburg, PA is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice. The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
Current state license to practice dentistry.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose and treat dental diseases.
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
Create and review treatment plans with patients.
Maintain and update dental records.
Review x-rays and diagnostic tests.
Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
Provide restorative and preventive care.
Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
Maintain high standard of care and ethics.
Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
