Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a dentist to join our established practice in a part-time capacity. The role focuses on promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, educating patients, and creating comprehensive treatment plans to preserve or restore oral health.

You will work with a supportive network of doctors, access exclusive continuing education, and benefit from mentorship and collaborative opportunities. Competitive daily rate reflects market norms; requires DMD/DDS and active BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
