Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our team. The position involves managing the full clinical patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role is part-time (two Saturdays per month, 7AM-12PM) with a benefits package that requires full-time hours averaging 32 per week. You will have opportunities for continuing education and growth within a collaborative practice.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism and stay updated with new developments.
