Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our team. The role covers the full clinical patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties and a steady patient flow. This position offers a competitive daily rate and a pathway to continuing education opportunities.

The successful candidate will hold a DMD or DDS, possess a state license, and maintain Hepatitis B vaccination and malpractice insurance. Labor Day–Memorial Day Saturdays schedule is included.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments, technologies, and standard care through CE.
