Job summary

42 North Dental in Harleysville, PA is seeking a part-time Dentist to provide comprehensive clinical care across exams, treatment planning, and delivery of care, including in-office perio, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. The role supports a strong patient flow and ongoing education.

The practice offers continuing education through work at no cost, mentorship through a network of doctors, and a first-rate benefits package. Schedule includes two Saturdays per month, 7am-12pm.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.
