Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to lead the patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to care delivery, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers a steady patient flow in an established practice with access to ongoing continuing education and a robust network of Doctors. Part-time hours include mornings and two Saturdays per month.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and best practices.

Skills

Current state license to practice dent

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccine

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA-accredited)
