Job summary

42North Dental seeks a part-time Dentist in Pennsylvania to oversee the clinical patient experience from exam through care delivery. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics. Flexible Saturdays and a Saturday morning schedule support patient flow.

The role emphasizes patient education, treatment planning, and maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism, with ongoing CME and mentorship available.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and best practices through continuing education.
