Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the patient experience from exam through treatment, performing restorative and surgical procedures as needed across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The schedule features two Saturday shifts per month (7 AM–12 PM), with comprehensive benefits for full-time equivalents and opportunities to attend CE events through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through CE
