Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States seeks a Dentist to join our established practice. You will lead the full patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in‑office specialty services in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Schedule: Part-Time, two Saturdays per month 7 AM–12 PM; Benefits include health insurance with optional HSA, dental and vision coverage, 401K, and continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
