Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA seeks a Part-time General Dentist to deliver comprehensive care. You’ll manage patient exams, treatment plans, and in-office specialties across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Open Tue, Thu, and every other Fri; daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections; benefits include health insurance, vision, 401K, CE opportunities, and more. Join a team devoted to excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures in oral cavity
• Maintain highest standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education

Skills
