Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join a practice offering comprehensive in-office care including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will manage the entire patient experience from examination and treatment planning to delivery of care, with 2–3 days per week, 8AM-5PM or 10AM-7PM, and a daily guarantee or percentage of collections up to 36%. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Valid dental license to practice in the state.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS/CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
