Job summary
42 North Dental is currently seeking a part-time Dentist to lead comprehensive patient care in our established practice. The role covers the full patient experience from exams to treatment planning, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.
The schedule requires Saturdays 7AM-12PM with two Saturdays per month and a minimum of 32 hours weekly for some benefits.
Qualifications
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review, interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
- Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
