Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Dentist to deliver comprehensive patient care in our established practice. In-house specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. The Dentist will guide the full patient experience from exam to treatment planning and delivery.

The schedule is part-time: Labor Day through Memorial Day, with two Saturdays per month (7AM–12PM). Benefits include health insurance with HSA, dental and vision coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standard of care and ethics.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA
