Job summary
42North Dental is seeking a Part-time Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care in our on-site practice. The role encompasses exams, treatment planning, restorative procedures, and coordination with specialists such as periodontics and orthodontics.
A strong focus on patient education and preventive care is supported by ongoing CE opportunities and a collaborative team. The ideal candidate holds an ADA CODA-accredited DDS/DMD, a current state license, and BLS/CPR certification.
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention.
- Diagnose oral diseases.
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
- Review treatment plan options with patients.
- Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
- Maintain high quality standards and professionalism.
- Stay updated on new developments and best practices.
