Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to manage the full patient experience—from initial exam to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role supports a strong patient flow in a well-established practice with opportunities for continued CE and growth. The position offers a flexible schedule (two Saturdays per month) with opportunities for exclusive continuing education and involvement in Harvard Rounds Network events

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
