Job summary

42North Dental in Stockertown, PA, is hiring a Dentist to deliver complete clinical patient care from initial exam to treatment and delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers a part-time schedule with two Saturdays per month and starts from 7 AM to 12 PM. The practice provides health insurance with HSA options, dental and vision coverage, 401K, CE opportunities, and extensive continuing education through Harvard Rounds

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plans with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education
