Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join a busy practice where you will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment planning, with in-house specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role is part-time with a schedule that includes Saturdays; benefits are available for those averaging 32 hours per week, and there are strong opportunities for continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network and internal CE events.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination must be on file.
• Proof of malpractice insurance required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
