Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States is seeking a Part-Time Dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from examination and treatment planning to delivering care, with in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics available.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on options, create treatment plans, review records and x‑rays, and stay current with the latest standards of care through continuing

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
