Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States is seeking a Dentist to provide the full patient experience—from initial exams and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on promoting oral health and high standards of care.

The position is part-time with a schedule that includes Saturdays and weekend hours; benefits include a 401K, continuing education at no cost, and mentorship within an extensive network

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
