Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer daily rate compensation, continuing education at no cost, mentorship, and a supportive Doctor network to help grow your career. Weekend availability is included in the schedule.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.
