Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the entire patient experience from exam to care delivery, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers a part-time schedule (Saturdays 7AM-12PM, Labor Day to Memorial Day) with a strong emphasis on patient education, prevention, and collaboration within a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professionalism.
• Stay updated on new developments and best practices.
