Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Part-Time Dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the entire patient experience from exam through delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers a part-time schedule: Saturdays 7AM-12PM, with an emphasis on promoting oral health, diagnosing conditions, and creating comprehensive treatment plans. Competitive daily rate provided.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Stay updated with new developments and best practices through continuing education.
