Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our patient-centered practice. You will manage the full clinical patient experience from exam and treatment planning to care delivery, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers a strong patient flow, opportunity for continuing education, and potential for growth within a well-established practice connected to Harvard Rounds Network for CE events.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated on new developments and continuing education.
