Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care within our established practice. You will lead the patient experience from exam through delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position features a strong patient flow, exclusive CE opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package, with some benefits requiring full-time status. Two Saturday shifts per month are included.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification is current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
