Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist for a part-time schedule with two Saturdays per month, 7AM-12PM, from Labor Day to Memorial Day. The role involves comprehensive patient care, including exams, treatment planning, and delivery of care across general and in-office specialties.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education

Education
