Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Dentist for a part-time role in our established practice. The position involves delivering comprehensive dental care, from exams and treatment planning to execution, including in-office specialties.

A steady flow of new patients supports a dynamic clinical environment. Responsibilities cover preventive, restorative, surgical, and diagnostic services, with opportunities for continued education through in-house and partner CE events.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.

Education
