Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our team in Martins Creek, PA. You will manage patient care from exam to treatment planning, with in-office specialty access including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Position offers limited Saturday hours, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network and internal CE events.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
