Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Part-time Dentist to join our established practice in the United States. The role involves full patient care from exams and treatment planning to delivery of dental care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position features a two-Saturday-per-month schedule (7 AM–12 PM) and benefits are available for those averaging 32 hours per week.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethical professionalism.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.
