Job summary

Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a part-time dental hygienist for Thursdays and Fridays. You will have a full schedule, a supportive doctor team, and the tools and time to deliver excellent care.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient connection, and dependable presence within a collaborative office. You will articulate treatment plans, discuss fees and financing, and maintain precise records while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active state dental hygiene license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Local anesthesia certification (required / preferred).
• New graduates welcome (if applicable).
• Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing patient financing is a plus.
• Experience with Denticon practice management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing.
• Complete full periodontal charting and assess periodontal health at every visit.
• Take and review radiographs and intraoral images.
• Educate patients on their oral health and explain the reasons behind recommended care.
• Co-diagnose with the dentist and build treatment plans for periodontal and restorative care.
• Present treatment plans chairside with clear explanations of needs and options.
