Job summary

Atlanta Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor, Dental Hygiene (Part-Time) to deliver quality curriculum with daily instruction in the classroom, dental lab, and clinical settings on ATC’s Main campus, just south of downtown Atlanta. This temporary position offers up to 29 hours per week under the Health and Public Safety Technology division.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from a regionally accredited college or university.
Three (3) or more years of paid full-time work experience and teaching experience in a dental hygiene program.
Georgia State Licensure as a Dental Hygienist in Good Standing; BLS Certification; Local Anesthesia Certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver quality curriculum with daily instruction in classroom, dental lab, and clinical settings.
Demonstrate appropriate testing and grading procedures and maintain grade books/records.
Advise and counsel students and maintain advisement records.
Ensure classroom/clinic/lab compliance with curriculum standards and CODA requirements.
Assist in student recruitment and job placement; participate in committees.
