Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Adjunct Instructor, Dental Hygiene (Part-Time), in the Health and Public Safety Department of the Academic Affairs division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College’s Main campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta. Under general supervision of the Dean of Health and Public Safety Technology, the Adjunct Instructor, Dental Hygiene (Part-Time) is responsible for preparing and delivering quality curriculum with daily instruction of students in the classroom, dental lab & clinical settings. This position requires a passion, demonstrated by experience, for effective teaching and advisement of diverse students. Adjunct faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis, up to twenty-nine (29) hours per week.
Preference may be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess and demonstrate a Master's Degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university in a health-related field AND Five (5) or more years of paid full-time work experience and teaching experience in a dental hygiene program *** May be required to teach at other locations and other locations within the community. ***
