Qualifications

• Expanded Functions OR CDA Certification required.
• Dental Radiology Certification if not included in CDA.
• Experience in a dental setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist chair-side during exams and procedures.
• Prepare patients for treatment and support dental hygiene education.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
• Take and process intra-oral x-rays as permitted.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Manage dental supplies and equipment maintenance.

Skills

Expanded Functions OR Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Certification

CPR Certification

Experience in a dental setting

Familiarity with electronic medical records

Education

High School diploma or GED
