Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Absecon, NJ is seeking a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist to service our vending program and replenish inventory at customer sites. The role involves local routes and daily customer interactions from our 645 S Mill Rd branch.

The position requires 18+ years of age, a valid driver’s license, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Shifts are Mon–Fri 7:00am–5:00pm, with up to 28 hours per week, at 645 S Mill Rd, Absecon,

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Current full valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record requirements
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Demonstrate the company values: ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages typically 25–50lbs, up to 75lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam)

Responsibilities

• Making deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites
• Performing replenishment and maintenance of vending equipment
• Interacting with customers during deliveries
• Placing and fulfilling orders at customer sites
• Performing other duties to support branch success
