Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Absecon, NJ is seeking a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist to service our vending program and replenish inventory at customer sites. The role involves local routes and daily customer interactions from our 645 S Mill Rd branch.

The position requires 18+ years of age, a valid driver’s license, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Shifts are Mon–Fri 7:00am–5:00pm, with up to 28 hours per week, at 645 S Mill Rd, Absecon,

Qualifications

• Current full valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving record requirements

OVERVIEW:

Embark on your journey as a Part-time Fulfillment Specialist, where you'll take charge of delivering excellence by replenishing inventory solutions and managing our industry leading vending program. If you thrive on being on the move, this role offers a dynamic local route, servicing customer needs daily. From making deliveries, to performing replenishments of our managed inventory programs, and maintaining equipment, you'll be at the forefront of our innovative solutions. This position is for our branch located at 645 S Mill Rd, Absecon, NJ 08201.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Making deliveries with a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites
• Performing replenishment and general maintenance of vending equipment
• Interacting with our customers while making deliveries
• Placing and fulfilling orders at customer sites
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
• Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate attention to detail and strong sense of urgency

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous customer service or industry related work experience
