Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is hiring a Part-time Delivery Driver in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, and delivering to customers while adhering to DOT regulations and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and motivated; CDL is not required. The role offers an hourly wage, on-the-job training, and opportunities for wage increases after assessments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain licensure/endorsement to drive a 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• CDL not required.
• Experience driving a 20-24' box truck preferred but not required.
• Ability to use GPS and map routes.
• Lift, bend, push, pull and move products using pallet jack and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods and drive a 20-24' box truck.
• Deliver safely and on time with strong customer service.
• Follow DOT rules and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain professional image of self and vehicle.
• Support branch warehouse as needed.
