Job summary

National Dentex is seeking a Part-Time Delivery Driver for the NDX Affinity location in Louisville, KY. This role will involve daily route deliveries and pickups, and representing the lab with courtesy and professionalism.

The schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday, with potential changes. A valid driver’s license, ability to read/write/speak English, and a professional appearance are required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Professional and neat in appearance.

Responsibilities

• Learn delivery route(s) as assigned.
• Provide daily deliveries and pick-ups as requested and assigned.
• Disinfect cases returned to lab.
• Represent the laboratory with courtesy, respect and focus.
• Advise lab contact with any office concerns or doctor communications.
• Assist with clean-up of the vehicle daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Part-Time Delivery Driver opportunity at NDX Affinity located in Louisville, KY.

The part-time hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Learn delivery route(s) as assigned
• Provide daily deliveries and pick-ups as requested and assigned
• Disinfect cases returned to lab
• Represent the laboratory with courtesy, respect and focus
• Advise appropriate lab contact with any office concerns, doctor communications, etc.
• Clean work area (vehicle) daily
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Required: Valid driver’s license and able to maintain an acceptable driving record
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent

• Company Automobile
• Additional materials or equipment, as required
• Personal protective equipment, as required

Physical Requirements:

• Physical stamina to drive for extended periods of time
• Regularly required to drive, sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach
• Repeatedly getting in and out of an automobile multiple times a day
• Ability to read required documentation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions
